Throwing a Baby Shower
My cousin is expecting and I have been selected as the designated baby shower hostess! We’re going to have it in April – so I thought the above favors were the cutest idea! I can select any color that I want and fill them with anything that I desire. Depending on the budget, I was thinking of Jelly Bellys or M&M’s. I have been putting together a check list of things that I need to consider (We all know how I like to plan a party!) Here is what I have so far:

- Location
- Guests & Invitations
- Theme
- Decorations
- Games
Does anybody else have any ideas?

Arielle Adelia Mother with Baby Pendant
I think I may have mentioned this before, but I LOVE this necklace. It’s made from all sterling silver and I get compliments on it all of the time. It is the image of a mother cuddling with her baby. I love it because it hangs close to my heart, even when I’m at work and not with my little girl. They have other variations – some tags with birthstones. All basically signifying mother and child. I received this as a gift for my baby shower and hope to receive more like this for mothers day. I’m not much of a jewelry person but I love simple and this is definitely simple and elegant.

ProudBody Pregnancy Belly Cast Kit
I have a friend that has an art store and she requested to display my belly cast. It isn’t anything major, in my opinion, but it is definitely a conversation piece. Well apparently her customers think so too because they have all asked where they can buy a kit! I didn’t realize how popular these were! They’re very simple, just apply and let dry.. no mixing or messes. I received this as a gift at my baby shower. Anyways, I know this strays from my bridal journey but it is definitely something I wanted to share with everybody! Have a great weekend!

Sweet Pea Cakes, etc. Blue Puppy Diaper Cake
I received one of these Diaper Cakes for my baby shower many months ago, and have since gotten a few for my pregnant friends and they were HUGE hits! Inside all of the diapers are a ton of excellent gifts like diaper cream, baby lotion, onesies etc. They make for excellent centerpieces and even better keepsakes. What is better is that they are made from 52 pampers diapers (The BEST Diapers ever) and can be used up completely. There are a ton of themes and colors to select from (From pinks and purples to blues and reds). Each is unique – but like I said, the fun is in the hidden surprises. We spent almost an hour at the last baby shower admiring the cake and then digging through to find the surprises.

Excellent Baby Shower Gift Ideas
I received many baby shower gifts. A ton of them were clothes and necessities such as bottles and diapers. Those gifts proved to be extremely handy, but now that the baby is a bit older I am finding that the gift sets really help in developing my daughter! The gift that interests her in particular is the Baby Aspen “Mother Goose” gift set. It features 7 pieces. Each character comes with it’s own soft book and this really is the best age for those! Durable and colorful, my daughter just stares at them for hours. If you are going to a baby shower in the near future, I would seriously recommend giving a gift set for the baby!

Cassiani Rocking Horse Frame – Shower Idea!
I just had a cute thought for baby showers. This may be because I wasn’t able to help plan mine
Wouldn’t it be cute to take really cute baby frames and put pictures of the baby’s ultrasound as favors. Then the guests can take them home and put the baby’s newborn photo in it after he/she arrives. This particular frame is from Cassiani and is sold at Bellacroft. They have a ton of different themes and sizes for boys, girls and surprises!
